The dunnock's nest is empty, so I took it out of the tree (I've kept it, it is so sweet) and will take some more branches out of that tree later today. I'm off to Berwick tomorrow morning, so I can take them to the tip then.

Rang an archaeologist yesterday, and sent him the info. He says it looks straightforward. He is also a mediaeval specialist, so he's very suitable. I should hear more from him tomorrow.
