You all make me tired just reading this! Penny, we (I, at least) knew about Marks and Spencer, but only some smetana at a Polish shop throws me for a loop. The only Smetana (capital S) is the composer of The Bartered Bride and Ma Vlast, etc. What is a lower case smetana?

Andrea, I hope you are going to take photos of this work. I have an idea of what you're doing, but it's hard to visualize these old English fireplaces.

I took my truck to the Chevy dealer for oil leaks and it turns out there has been a slow coolant leak that is more serious than the oil leaks. Never hits the ground because it only leaks under pressure and the moisture evaporates on the hot block, leaving a residue of dried coolant. I haven't looked at the coolant level in a long time, I've gotten lazy with the messages the truck sends. It didn't say it was low on coolant yet, but I can guess the sustained drive to Arizona planned later this month might bring that on. Ouch on the price tag - much higher that Penny's bill (even taking into account pounds and dollars). I'll live very frugally for a while.

I took a few things over to the garage sale, and sold some. Not high dollar, but I've removed a few things that were in my way here. I am going to work on that tonight and take a lot more over (I hope) for tomorrow morning. I was exhausted when I came in - took a long nap. A dog walk this evening and then I'll work on the sun room, identifying and pricing things that I could have sold on eBay or can sell in a garage sale. The things that can't be easily shipped are better sold here.
