Smetana

I came across it in supermarkets some time ago, but it was discontinued after I had got used to it. I like it on waffles with banana - the tang in it works like lemon juice on pancakes. I see from the article that I can serve it with the peirogi (stuffed dumplings)I have in the freezer. I do like sampling other people's cuisine, and Lidl is a good way to do it, but it's sometimes difficult to know quite how to use things. The dumplings need some sort of sauce on them, but the pack does not advise what.
