I've dug a new patch in the middle of the garden for rosemary and thyme, which did not do at all where I put them last year. I transplanted the sage there, too, as it was doing so well it was blocking the path.

I've had to buy new seeds for peas and beans as I've had nearly zero germination - the one pea that sprouted died soon after. I've also had to spray my wild rose which has developed mildew for some reason - it's a very tough plant, and did very well on the dry chalk stuff at the old place. But not here, in shade, next to my angelica, and under the shade of a neighbour's bush.

I'm feeling really sleepy much of the time, too.
