Wait a minute. I had access to food. I just didn't make the best choices for myself. Sure I could have taken the chicken, rice and carrots for myself but I WANTED to make sure my husband had decent food and not have to mess with cooking. He is a WONDERFUL cook and is more than capable for fending for himself...I didn't want him to have to do that. He works hard enough. I did not put myself or the baby in any kind of danger. If push came to shove, I had 6 apples in the car, 6 jars of baby food, baggies of animal crackers and Cheerios. I was just pointing out that I opted for crap food (McDonald's hamburgers, a fruit smoothie, small fries) because it was easy and fast which is what I needed because I waited until I was starving to eat. There was too much going on and I was exhausted. It happens. And when you eat crap, you feel like crap. My sugars were a little high but nothing over 150.

I REALLY don't like the implication that I was putting the baby at risk. I absolutely was NOT.
