No lie, folks, daughter Amy and I stopped by Chez Patterson on April 22, on the way to visit my sons and go to an anime convention. We had a a lovely visit, and had to leave far too soon. Spaw made fantastic sandwiches called Kentucky Hot Browns. {DO NOT even go there! They were invented at the elegant Brown Hotel} Look up the recipe on line. There are a bajillion variations (the one involving peaches sounded a bit scary), but Spaw has amalgamated a happy fusion of the best elements of them all. We had to leave far too soon, but I hope to get back for another visit in less than a year's time, for a change.
