Ya know how the essential things never really happen until they are supposed to happen? For years I've wanted a hitch-mounted cargo carrier. The same moment I was confronting the reality of all the things I cannot carry inside the van, and also still sleep comfortably in it as the demands of my ministry seem to require-- from the front porch I saw the mail carrier, who was delivering a birthday check--- and it turned out to be about 10 times bigger than this one relative usually sends for my birthday. I had allocated what she usually sends to reimburse this trip's ministry travel expenses, and was just so grateful THAT amount had come in time for this foray.

The place I wanted the carrier from IS open til 9 and DOES have it in stock. And it is STILL on sale and there is enough $$ to also get the water-resistant cover that fits it!

(And they have a really affordable carrier, as well, for my scooter-- another pesky problem long in the solving!)
