Wow, Andrea. People have built whole houses in the time it has taken you to get all the permissions, etc. It is rather nice that they are picky about keeping the old houses looking - old. Our neighbour, who painted some of the beautiful stone on her facade - orange, sky blue, and black - had a visit from the keepers of old houses in Montreal. What had been beautiful grey stone is now painted grey.

Cleaning up kitchen counters this morning, I viewed it as "cleaning up mouse's feeding area". Our resident mouse is just that. I have come to accept that it will not go into the trap no matter what cheese I use! It would be nice if it were to move out for the summer but I have learned to live with it.

So K is as clean as it gets, laundry is done, took a detox bath to recover from weekend toxins, worked on catch-up on the computer and cleared water off droopier and droopier shed roof.
