All furniture skooched out of the living room. New 8 x 12 rug put down. Furniture skooched back. Ah yes. This is MUCH better. It looks great and will be easier to keep clean (love my vacuum) making a better space for the baby to play. Softer on bare feet too. Dogs will go in and out of the mudroom entrance and stay there until they are dry before coming out into the main house. Mud season will end. It will. I have complete faith that it will end....sometime!!!

Busy day ahead with regular chores, a little grocery shopping, prepping food for a luncheon tomorrow and then a meeting this evening.

Add Jeremiah who is active (guess who took his first steps last night?!?!?!) and teething. He's a moving, chewing, drooling, uncomfortable baby boy. Per doctor's suggestion, he's taking Advil and I've been swabbing orajel on his gums as needed. He's finally agreeable to cold teethers. He also seems to really love chewing on his little Fisher Price dump truck. If it helps him, I'm all for it!!!

Gonna go play with my baby!!! :) The other stuff can wait until nap time!
