This thread is a real find! What very sad news (well, to me) of Alasdair Clayre's death. I still remember a performance he gave at Eton in the 1960s which inspired me to buy his book 100 Folk Songs and New Songs which I still have. And there was another great singer with him, who sang "The Nun's Song" (starting "It's out of frying pan and into the fire / I've had me lot of sexual desire"). Does anybody have any idea who that might have been?
