I well remember about 20 year's ago Jim was playing dulcimer at the South of England Elizabethan Fair (or something like that) as the London to Brighton cycle run went past the Show Grounds near Ardingly in Sussex. I was on my bike - clad in lycra - and called in to see what was going on. I'm not sure what he thought of this strange cyclist following his group around. But really Jim was my inspiration to try and learn the dulcimer myself. It would be great to meet up with his supporters, hopefully with dulcimers in hand. But where is the venue please?
