Nadia was a regular guest at Canterbury Folk Club, most memorably for me 21st January 1966. One of the songs she sang was, 'Long time boy,' with its middle lines, ''..Say that you'll marry me tomorrow...'
I was with a boy I had met only 6 times before that evening. The following day he asked me to marry him. He's still here, 8 children and nine grandchildren....and I'm still singing.
I remembered this song last year and added it to my set. Then I realised the co-incidence.

Nadia was a lovely singer. I wonder if she still sings. I know I saw her in a BBC drama about, I think, the Windrush.
