Wellp, all kidding aside, boyz 'n' girlz, if you're sexually active -- particularly with more than one person and not in a monogamous relationship -- usin' 'em is better than the alternative.

Having had more than one friend die of AIDS and having several who've been living with it for years, I don't want to make light of the fact that they're a necessary evil if one is out there in the "scene." Granted, most of us on Mudcat aren't, or we wouldn't be here, glued to our computers, from which the most we can catch is a serious case of eyestrain. But ... I would very much hate all the 'eeeuuws' and 'icks' to keep even one person from practicing safe sex if that's what their own, very particular situation demands.

So, kids ... if you go out in the rain, be sure and wear your rubbers...
