I would have thought that three days after the announcement of the NOTW closure in the morning....Every single computer will have been scrupulously cleaned, A bit like the Nazis burning all the files about "The Final Solution" before that particular balloon went up.
Every shred of evidence will have been destroyed...Maybe an odd memo fallen behind a filing cabinet might be found, but, that'll be it.
NOTW will return, under a different name when the dust settles....It's too much of a cash cow for Murdoch to leave that hole unfulfilled.
And the practices that caused it's demise this time will continue. They'll just be a bit more careful as to how they do it.
I can understand underhand journalists...Quelle Surprise! But, Police taking payments for information? Everyone is keeping very quiet about that bit....Wonder why?
Which Policemen, What information? Which investigative reporter is commenting on that situation??? Deafening silence...
