gnu, if you already have good speakers in the house, why are you buying more? If you're watching these on your computer away from the rest of your sound system then pick up one of the inexpensive speakers that include a good base box (whatever the system is called that has the third box that usually sits behind the monitor.) If you want better sound, untether yourself from the computer speakers and run the signal to an HD tv with good sound or run it also into your home's stereo receiver and run it through your existing speakers. I have my Dad's old huge speakers - they weigh a ton but they still sound great. And I have the tv, dvd/bluray player and other devices all going into the receiver (that's what I need to replace - the settings are there, but it's several generations old now). Include your computer into that feed and listen on a larger scale.
