It looks like everyone reached their home safely, except Linda, of course, who is still on her holidays! I have to thank everyone for making the FIRST mudcat UK gathering such a resounding success. I can't shake off the impression that the people whom I have spent the weekend with are old friends that I've known for years. We all were able to pick up conversations and discussions that we were all a part of, and talk about absent friends, affectionately, as though they hadn't been able to be with us, but were not far away, and would be here next time we met.
We are all in agreement that the music was first-class, even in the middle of the night, when the traditionalists were singing a cappella in the lounge bar, and the folk rockers were strutting their stuff in the public bar.
Now, 'Spaw, the questions you need to be asking are about the forty-foot trailer, the stone circle and it's significance during the full moon, and the legend of Taliesin. If you can get straight answers about these, then you will have a small understanding of the event that was Llanstock.
Love, Bron.
