In my school playground in England we also sang a version of this song in the 1970's
'My boy's a corker, he lives New Yorker
He'll give me anything to keep me in style
He's got a runny nose, just like a watering hose
That's why love my corker so, ho, ho, ho, umpa, umpa, umpa, umpa, umpa!
He's got a pair of ears, just like to Indian spears
He's got a pair of eyes just like to pork pies (very british!)
He's got a pair of legs just like to wooden peg
Good to be remembered of the song, I wonder how we got to sing it in a little English town school playground in the 70's?
