Our thread fell off the page overnight. I'm sure it isn't because no one has been doing anything!

I made a batch of beans last night but they're not yet finished; I have to add a couple more things so I'll simmer them some more today (have to add the venison and some capers when the batch is cooked down enough.)

Today is overcast so it's only 101 out there now, and I have to do some spot watering in the yard. I have a pattern laid out for most of my watering now and I keep an eye on my trees, trying to keep them alive.

I have got a few things done around here, but nothing worth reporting. Getting my son ready to return to college, etc.
