I've never heard Keith Richard sound as if he knew which planet he was on much less the time of day or what he was talking about.

But it's an interesting point about Harley Davidsons and (while I disagree about their having "it", Bonnies). The Harley is a sort of tractor with two wheels. The Bonnie is one of the bikes that went furthest to create the credo of unreliable British bikes. Yet some parties to this argument persist in defining "it" by reference to technical ability.
