I remember this song very well (Ladies in the Sky). I had it on a 45 that had the Ballad of Andy Burnett on the other side. I played it so many times I wore the poor thing out.

There's a wind that blows,
In the open west,
And where it goes,
The hawk knows best.
He defies the wind
And his wings are free,
He knows the wind,
And so do we.

Blow the winds from the mountains,
Ladies proud and high
Blow the winds from the mountains.
Ladies in the sky.
None other ever
Had a sweeter dream
Than I remember
By a mountain stream.
I lost my heart to the mountains,
There I long to roam,
Going back to the mountains,
Where I feel at home.
I would (or will) be faithful
Untill I die.
I will always be faithful
To those Ladies in the sky.
