Actually, JTT, that should be Luan (nominative singular) not Luain (genitive singular). You'd use the genitive singular after the word Dé, as in the phrase Dé Luain (literally, Day of Monday). And níos airde means 'higher'. Is airde means 'highest'.

But I think either one of your suggestions is a great name for a band!
