I just like the look of it and have always instantly regretted it whenever I've been stupid enough to shave it off....although having it makes me look about 5-7 years older than I actually am, and it's all salt and peppery at this point. I agree with Clinton that it also cuts down on shaving time. The bitchingest part of having one for me, is when trimming it, trying to get both sides to match up evenly. On those occassions where I totally mess it up (never trim it when you first wake up in the morning) I just walk around with my head cocked slightly to one side for a few days. *BG*
