Back about 1983 or '84(?) Martina showed up at the pub to thank them for putting her "home made" record on the juke box. (I think she was about 16 or 17(?) at the time.) Several of us asked if we could buy a copy of the recording (it was really good!) and got sort of a promise that she'd bring a few copies "next time she came to town."

At the pub Xmas party in 1985 same requests and same sort of "almost" promises. (I got a snapshot then to confirm the date from.)

I'm still waiting, although the odds are getting slimmer now that she's in the "big time" and hardly ever makes it back home. I'd still like to have the record, even if the price would be a little higher now that she's "a name;" but I doubt that verson's ever been released "on a label."
