Rapparee, I watched the tide come in, in my toilet bowl yesterday, and it never went out. A hasty trip to the hardware store and a lot of dislodging of sea monsters and other nasty things eventually made it go out.

This is the toilet further away from the bedroom, so again we may hear the flush of a distant toilet......
