Well my comments are observations on a Day Trip to Sidmouth.I went there to see friends and play music and did just that. The old pride of being part of the Festival for me was lost. The dancing bordered on dreadful but they were enjoying themselves.I suppose us oldies should not compare old with new, but when you remember how it was, it is hard not to get a bit disappointed.
There is no need to get involved in the politics of the place, unless you want to.The major idea is to play,sing or watch Folk Music and dance, a number of street traders is not going to spoil it for me.
