mmmmmmm dunno what to say really, it's sort of like reading about a really good pub and find it no better than the one across the road at home. I am of course talking about the fringe, could only make it for half a day and as I toured around I found most of the session/singarounds well set and impenetrable. I think maybe If I don't leave seven years or so between visits then I might have a better understanding of the protocols. Lots of good music and singing going on but actually didn't feel part of it or that comfortable joining in. Almost like intruding at family get together.
