Mom, ya woulda been proud of me for the surprise party we threw for BBW. She was expecting a quiet dinner with friends out in Valley Center, and who showed up but her Mom from Arizona. Then, her sister from Denver walked in, completely unexpected. Then guests start rolling in and the wine and beer are flowing and her best childhood friend shows up from Pennsylvania. The look on BBW's face was worth the whole deal, I tell ya. The party ran until late and we got some good blues laid down with buddies. It was a fine, fine evening.
