I have a Fender Model F-55-12 stamped inside 893 at the start of the finger board just under the acoustic hole. I seem to remember buying it around 1978. Apparently it was seven years old at that time. I paid £ 70 which was also the price when originally purchased. It had never been used. I still have it and it is still almost as new. I also still have a Levin junbo (swedish) LM-26 six string which I purchased second hand from a friend (£ 35) when I was 19. I am now 65. The guitar is now 63 years old. Rock on!
