International monetary policy was a lot simpler back then GfinS... Now, it's right at the cut-throat stage... It is very irresponsible to think we don't have to play with the big boys using big boy tactics... That's what the Fed is about... I mean, if you don't want America to be competitive then, sure, do away with the Fed and we will soon see our trade imbalances double... Rick Perry doesn't want to see *US* devalue out currency for no other reason than it will create more American jobs and anything that creates more American jobs cuts into Republican chances in the 2012 election... If he were president now he's be all over the Fed chairman to do what is is angrily preaching is wrong... This is sound monetary policy... Heck, if China can manipulate it's currency to take our jobs why should we handcuff our own government from doing the same???

Will you answer that question in your own words???

As for "Judgement Day", I thing Rory Block's version is stronger but, as I said last night, this gal can flat out play the blues...
