By carefully charting the prevalence of earthquakes in certain regions, and the strength thereof, one can soon achieve a good understanding of where the erogenous zones of the Earth lie...and on this basis, one can decided to live in a safer location...or build stronger buildings. The latter is cool if you want to be right at the center of the action, so to speak.
