Once again, GfS, you misrepresent what I said (in that other thread!). I—and several other well-read people—said that geneticists have said that it is very likely that sexual orientation is genetically determined rather than, as some claim, a matter of choice.   There are actual physical differences between the brain structure of homosexuals and hereosexuals.

There is nothing conclusive yet, but the indications, according to the most recent genetic research, is there. Whether you like it or not.

The subject of this thread is the Tea Party. If you want to reopen the discussion of sexual orientation, I suggest you take it to another thread.

The only genes I have ever named are Gene Rowley, whom I knew in college and Gene Windhorst, my wife's cousin's husband.

(By the way, "touting" would have been sufficient. "Touting about" tends to be redundant. I can recommend a very good book for you:   Elements of Style, by William Strunk, Jr. and E. B. White, usually known by competent writers as, simply, "Strunk and White." How to say what you intend without making yourself look like a jackass. No need to thank me.)
