... what a win for Ireland!!!

The forwards were awesome - when australia got the ball they looked dangerous - but Ireland wouldn't let them have it - and their most dangerous spell of play very nearly turned into a try for Tommy Bowe after he intercepted the ball beautifully and ran the entire length of the field, only beaten in the end by the fatigue in his legs.

We're a small country with just 4 league teams - FOUR!! one for each of the 4 provinces - and one of those in non-professional ...

The Irish can be proud tonight - there's nothing to lose now and suddenly we could be in for a decent world cup finish!!
