Maybe it is just me, but your thread struck a chord (or should that be your chord struck a thread). Why are people being called service users? Why are patients in hospitals now called customers? Why are students in educational establishments now called clients? I hanker after the good old days when a manhole cover was simply a manhole cover. P.S. I hope tomorrow is a better day for you.
