I am too tired and too much pain to go to London for fun anymore.

But I remember my first visit there. Shocked by the grottiness everywhere. Didn't mind juxtatposition of gleaming modern against quaint old pubs etc. But the dirt, grime, gum, discarded fast food, broken glass, peeling paint, gang tags, spray painted obscenities and boarded up shops and houses really put me off.

London feels like it has been abandoned.
