Me, I'd quit. I can never understand how people in jobs like yours are able to carry on. I'm bloody glad I've never had to face such downers in my work. At the risk of sounding patronising, I'm eternally grateful that there are people strong enough to continue these vital roles, despite all the odds. Yes, I'm afraid I'd quit.
