I only spotted this thread this morning, Terri, and I know EXACTLY what you mean. You will bounce back, horrible houses and "visitors" are all par for the course, as is aggression, being on standby, having to tell parents and carers that there are no places for their offspring, or that they don't fulfil the criteria for your specialism.
What finished me was there being no place for someone in a day service, when the building and refurbishment had cost a quarter of a million-plus.
I have no problem with real life, but bullshit burned me out.
I may be short of cash now, but I have peace of mind, and the time to use my skills to the advantage of the community- real or cyber......
