Saw wales play against a Fijian side who forgot to bring a front row.

Italy on the other hand had as cynical and aggressive a front row as you can imagine. Credit to Irish forwards for not getting provoked despite eyegouging and other deliberate attempts to provoke and to injure.

Normally i like Italy, but today i was glad to see Ireland stuff them.

Crap ref and cheating forwards couldn't stop us though.

Bowe scored a beautiful fair try that was disallowed, and was then tackled off the ball just as he was about to score another, but no penalty try was given.

So the score doesn't reflect Irish determination and discipline remotely.

Correctly refereed, the score would be 50 - 6 - without those two trues, the score was 36 - 6.


Well done Ireland and watch out wales - the welsh front row is not as tough or scary as the Italian front row and they can expect the Irish to be all over them.
