... there were a lot of snogs flung about. I think I had started doing them in the Tavern, and I made a little emoticon for them. Mortie reminds me so much of the idea behind that thread, I started thinking how some of the more outrageous encouragers and friend-lovers around here ought to band together once in awhile and sort of mega-snog the whole Mudcat. (I have some ideas who'd be on that dream team, too, and you may hear from me.)

So here's the emoticon I used:

I used that for it because the best virtual kiss I ever got was just a giant glowing asterisk, in my e-mail, and I thought, well, asterisks are already taken at the Mudcat for other meanings, so what to do... and that's how it got made.

I think they must have gotten taken as something I do in particular-- but I hereby bequeath the symbol to Mortie to aid her in her snogging pursuits, as one of my last acts on this work computer, to one and all, to use as ye see fit.

Of course you may all feel free as well.
