Thread Name: 'Dirty' songs recorded in the 1950's
Subject: Lyr Add: THE DINGHY SONG^^
I remember hearing "The Dinghy Song" on an old Dr. Demento record and laughing my head off. I think that was more in the forties or even thirties, though...

"He's got the cutest little Dinghy in the Navy,
And all the girlies know that it's so!
The cutest little Dinghy in the Navy,
They love to watch him go heave-ho!

It isn't very long and it isn't very short;
It's built for speedy action
And it gets him into port!
The cutest little Dinghy in the Navy,
Heave ho, heave ho!

It isn't very narrow and it isn't very wide;
But you should see that thing go in and out with the tide!
The cutest little Dinghy, etc. etc."

Couldn't resist quoting the lyrics. It's fun to sing, too.
