IN the small circle of hell where I earn my daily bread, Fridays are very special. THe HR department rolls in boxes of doughnuts, oranges, bagels, and other snacky delights and everyone descends on the lunchroom to celebrate another productive week. Also, Friday signifies the approach of two days of not having to go to work.
