After the red card for Rooney's unprovoked assault on an opponent yesterday I wonder if I am the only one to wonder whether he should ever wear an England shirt again. His thuggish kick certainly annoyed me far more than England's dismal performance last night. I can stomach losing, but not sending out the message to the rest of the world that we condone thuggery.
