It's like Norton antivirus used to be on email in the bad old days - send from your resident email client, it goes to Norton, Norton thinks about checking it, and finally sends it to the modem (those were the days, eh?) by which time the modem has got bored and hung up. It makes me wonder if some prophylactic measure has been installed on the 'cat.
