JetBlue doesn't charge for seat booking either; seat selection is part of the ticket-buying process. They also offer extra legroom seats for, I think, $60 more (comes with board-first privileges), which might be worth it for some (I'm 4'11", so not for me).

Carryon and one checked bag are free, and flights are inexpensive. By far my favorite airline.
