I think that we were friendly rivals to Croydon Group. Then there was the Ridgeway Marathon from Streatley YHA with Oxford and Abingdon YHA Groups. I also remember the folk sessions and dances in the 1960s/70s at Ivinghoe YHA. I think they were run by one Mick Howell from Kidlington. Happy days - when life was simpler and it was safer to cycle on the roads. Now-a-days I fear for my life on public transport let alone as a vulnerable cyclist.
