Thanks Kat -- I needed that. It reminds of Fort Flagler State Park in Puget Sound, where I was recently for a hurdy-gurdy festival. There are half-tame deer wandering around the site. They give one the idea that every movement is a deliberate act of grace.

I just had a very bad couple of days at work. I advocated and participated in the firing of a friend, a person I've been working closely with for six years. It's really nice to pull my head out of that for a few minutes and be with the deer instead.
