Hiya Skipjack.

I went to the Ourtward Bound Sea School on the Moray Firth in 1969 and sailed the old cutters there, which I have a hunch were moved to Aberdovey. You may have seen the dents my fingernails made on one on a filthy day up there. I sail whenever I get the opportunity now but it has to be on other people's boats, mainly deliveries, so if ever you're short of crew......

Aberdovey is my 'local', and favourite, bit of seaside and where I would like to keep a boat if I had one. I did a bit of work there as well - (I run these up-and-down-hills-and-paddling-canoe-type courses for a living) and always reckoned that the School there was the pick of the bunch.
