olddude, in 1967, I visited Canada for Expo'67 in Montreal, and then travelled to Toronto. I actually SWAM in Lake Erie!! I bet I wouldn't do it today! The water at my aunt's house in London Ontario was very, very hard and chlorinated.
Very good idea about the water dispenser. Our Doctor's surgery has one, and as you say, the water is very pure.
