It reminds me of a couplw of songs whose meodies are linked: Doon in the Wee Room and He's Ma Big Gallus Bloke nae Mair.
I wrote a song called the Laird's Prayer which sounds like a slowed down version of Doon in the Wee Room but at the time of writing (1965?) I'm sure it was an Irish tune I had in my head.
