Good evening, friends (I hope you are my friends).

It's been an exciting time for me. I've completed smoking cessation classes and I'm enrolled in a course of study which will lead to a GED and then, I hope, to college or even university. Considering my history you'll be surprised to find that I find mathematics to be by far the most interesting of the courses.

Oh, I almost forgot: I'm also in Alcoholics Anonymous and I've been "dry" for a month now. I think that I'll continue to post here under my old "name" because you know me by it and it reminds me of the bad old days I never want again to see.
