Once again, Mudcat has reminded me of the effect that differing musical backgrounds have on perceptions - coming out of Cape Breton and PEI fiddling traditions, it never would have occurred to me that anyone would find the kind of footwork that Ms. DeWolfe does in that clip "annoying".
